About the Journal
Analytical Geography is a bi-annual double-blind peer-reviewed journal of the Department of Geography, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, Delhi. It is an inter-disciplinary journal publishing innovative research and commentary in geography and related fields. It is global in outlook and integrative in approach.
Focus Areas
The broad focus of Analytical Geography is the organisation of economic, political, social and environmental systems through space and over time. Areas of study range from the analysis of the global political economy, through political ecology, national systems of regulation and governance, to urban and regional development, feminist, economic and urban geographies and environmental justice, resources management and sustainability. Analytical Geography provides editorial interventions, critical evaluations of current research, and conceptually guided, empirically supported research pieces. Additionally, it has a highly valued "themed issue" approach that allows for a targeted investigation of emerging and/or important fields of study. Frequency published in the months of June and December.
