Abstract
At the onset, I wish for the well-being of you and your loved ones during these challenging
times. The global pandemic has compelled us to explore and evolve new ways to not only
overcome the limitations but has also provided an opportunity to define new rules for a much
more efficient and resilient way of life with improved realisation of ‘Needs and Wants’.
During the past few months we all have experienced new practices with increased use of
technology to define the new normal. The realisation to work closely leveraging our
collective strengths has led to the development of concept of blended learning.
The soul of any society is education, as it enables one to think intensively and critically
while research may be regarded as its backbone as it helps in building knowledge and
facilitates learning through exploration, experimentation, explanation and application.
Incorporating a research component along with sound academic foundation enables students
to develop critical thinking, reasoning and deployment skills, attributes that are much desired
for the professional growth of the students. The ability to interact, debate, deliberate and
share leads to an environment balance between individual work and collaborative working
and co-creation.
