Artificial Intelligence has emerged as a transformative force across various sectors. It drives efficiency and innovation while making a major contribution to sustainability initiatives. This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric, informetric, and science mapping investigation of sustainability and artificial intelligence. Using data from the Scopus database (1997–2024) and analysed through Biblioshiny supported by R programming, the study identifies key publications, influential authors and emerging themes. Findings reveal how AI technologies contribute to achieving environmental, economic, and social sustainability goals through data-driven and intelligent practices. By mapping the intellectual structure and evolution of this interdisciplinary field, the study provides valuable insights for policymakers, scholars and manufacturing organizations to advance sustainable innovation and strategic decision making.
