About the Journal
The Learning Curve is the National Journal of the Department of Psychology, Lady Shri Ram College for Women. It is a peer-reviewed, annual academic journal accredited with an International Standard Serial Number (E- ISSN 2321-7057), and is indexed in Google Scholar.
Established in 2012, the journal comprises a reputable editorial advisory board and expert reviewers. In the past, the journal has received papers from researchers within and outside India, who have varying professional backgrounds but a shared zeal for research.
Publication Integrity
All manuscripts undergo plagiarism screening as part of the journal's editorial process. The journal is also incorporating AI-assisted content screening into its editorial workflow to support the originality and integrity of published research.
Article Processing Charges (APC) Waiver– The current article processing charge is ₹2,500; however, a waiver may be provided based on the author’s financial circumstances.
Interview with Dr. Stephan Farnsworth
Dr. Stephen Farnsworth is a Professor Emeritus of Political Science and International Affairs at the University of Mary Washington. The Learning Curve student editorial team interacted with him during his visit to Lady Shri Ram College for Women as a Fulbright Scholar. The discussion explored these areas: political humour as an acceptable form of criticism, the evolving definition of ‘freedom’, the role of politician’s personality and their social media presence in shaping public opinion, the challenge of using AI in election campaigns, the role of critical thinking to navigate misinformation and manipulation, and the presence of persons with disabilities (PwD) in the US politics.
