Traumatic Injury and Resilience Over Time

Abstract

This article explores traumatic brain injury and resilience. Just like trauma, resilience is different from person to person. Yet there are a common set of factors established as contributing to human resilience. The work presented here explores my personal journey of overcoming adversity and finding a footing in life in the aftermath of an adverse life-transforming accident, through the lens of psychological literature.
